Even I’m not cheesy enough to write “bananas for bananas…..”
I was never clear if amatooke is actually banana or plantain… they are both in the genus Musa so I’ll leave the fine print to other websites. For my purposes I will follow the Luganda Dictionary:
amatooke = green bananas
emigonja = plantains
amenvu = yellow bananas
